I write fantasy books. I think I have a pretty original story but like you I won't put it up online or even tell anyone names or things liek that for fear of having them ripped off... I have a lyric thread of my own original lyrics but I have all those protected by copyright thankfully so if somebody tries to nab my shit they get blasted by lawyers I'm extremely protective of my ideas... lol

Believe me I know, I've been writing a professional series of books for a few years now. I need to get them published but I can never seem to get up enough money to do so. I know ALL About writer's block >_< It's so hard to write anything original, I'm beginning to think you just plain can't. Some way, some how... everything has been done before. That goes across the board with creative things.
