A friend of mine recently posted these scans from the magazine avarus! Perhaps there still is hope for the series!
The artist is Ichimura Hitoshi, the same artist who drew the Tales of Symphonia manga. I have to say it looks splendid!

50 pages eh? sounds to me like some doujin anthology... but if it's the guy that made the ToS manga, then at least I'm certain the art will be great ^^
If anyone would like to buy the magazine, Amazon.jp has this issue for sale. ,)
I find it hard to believe it's a doujinshi since on the page I linked the editor/supervisor lists Capcom, Comic Blade Avarus is a legitimate magazine, and I don't think Amazon.jp carries doujinshi. It seems the reason it's only fifty pages is due to it being the first chapter! It ends with Fou-Lu being attacked by Yohm. ^^

I wonder why they'd start making a BoFIV manga years after it's release? I doubt it's in promotion of the cellphone game since it doesn't follow the main storyline. Wonder if this means that BoFIV will get a rerelase too (crosses fingers)
