AS there are not new Bof games etc new funs will be a little hard be be created.
I thing that we all should do something, by making a game or something like that, you know, to make people talk about it. a bof fun game or something like that.

It's obvious and has already been said for -- years -- now I've noticed in looking through old threads to post in... no new games, no reason for most people to post. I think I just enjoy the community more than anything, mainly because unlike nintey nine percent of other forums on the internet this one isn't full of assholes.
Haven't fans made enough petitions? All Capcom has to do is make a new one and do it right... a strong effort and some good promoting ought to make it sell fine... after all, it was voted Capcom's most (or one of the most) wanted sequel(s)! You'd think that'd open a few eyes! Or maybe just sell the series to another company that'll actually put forth the effort to resurrect it... and hopefully won't screw it up royal. Can you imagine a Breath of Fire as well written as Chrono Trigger, or one of the old-school FF epics like 4, 6, and 7? That'd be amazing. Bring back the BoF III styling (I thought it had the best designs for Ryu, Nina, and the dragons) and the dragon system from III and we've got an epic...
...All personal opinion.

For me, I can keep posting and talking about this magnificent series for all my life, no matter if a new game won't ever happen, but of course; the wish for a new one remains, specially if implies a remake if done properly, like not killing the features but improving on them, I'm dreaming on this most likely, but we never know. As for the forum, certainly the best gaming forum I been, and believe it or not that's due the kind of person that loves bof, it's kinda different from the rest of the gaming community, this bof series, by it's concept, design and philosophy, filters naturally only calm and cool people around. Simply try another gaming forum, and you will barely find such devotion, quality in posts, serene people while still retaining a unique gaming passion, passion for true game concepts, like breath of fire.
Yeah, definitley. That's just about exactly how I feel... no new games? No problem in regards to posting. Breath of Fire leaves you with great reminisance. It's just one of those mysterious things, I guess. You can't quite put your finger on why it holds you; but still you find yourself locked in its grip; and enjoying the comfort of something that is in some way defining.

I initially came because of my love affair with BoFIV. And I personally liked Dragon Quarter a lot, as the last two entries were my favorite. But I stayed because I met a lot of nice people here. You guys rock!

It's a pretty cool image, if I do say so myself. I'll leave it up, though this story may never be finished!
I don't know if I rock or not; but I am certainly rocking the forum, shaking everyone awake! I'm got a machine-gun post habit!

the awakening of the dragon .. well people are busy I guess as old bunch of gamers are working hard to earn a living..
As cjsenai said, most of us now work, and don't have as much free time as before. But that doesn't diminish the love for the series, and the community here. Here i met very good friends from all around the world, and i will keep posting here as long as the forum is alive (and remember my password lol)
I remember the forum got more lively when the manga came out, but the hype has already died down. It did show many of us are just lurking here waiting for the right time to strikeWe just got older and have responsibilities and shit and don't have as much time to waste
I'm still pleasantly surprised that everytime I come here there are a lot of newly registered members. Maybe someone could try to do a Let's play of one of the games to shake things up.
First time visiting here in a while. Sad things are slow, but happy the site still exists.
