I friggin' hate work right now...

Sorry, guys, but I gotta let this out somewhere before I explode!

I work for Walgreen's, and I'm just so sick of the crap that's going on! Everything from bitchy customers, to the legal problems we're facing, to our lost contract with ESI, I wonder just how long our company is going to be in business!

Okay, my day absolutely sucked. My day started out with getting bitched out by a customer because an item was recalled. Now, the item was Excedrin. All types and amounts were recalled because the plant that makes it has several health violations. Now how the heck is that my fault!? Why don't you just shut up and buy something else!?

So...For those of you who don't know, Walgreen's no longer has a contract with ESI, that's Express Scripts. They handle a ton of different medical insurances. And now that we no longer have a contract with them, we're losing countless customers! Worst part is that here in Minnesota, almost 60% of senior citizens have Ucare. And guess what's included in ESI? Yep. You guessed it. Ucare! Every day, I have to tell people we no longer accept their medical and they can either pay in full (Usually hundreds of dollars, or even more), or they have to go somewhere else. Needless to say, people are PISSED. Guess who they take it out on? Well, after trying to tear my employees a new one, I get called over to "Take care" of it. So I have to sit there while the customer literally screams at me about us not taking their medical. It doesn't matter that we've been warning people about it since last SEPTEMBER! We have no control over it!

So, today, I had an employee show up 2 and a half hours late! Her excuse? She had a family emergency and she missed the bus, so she had to wait for the next one. She couldn't have called!? And then once she gets there, all I hear is bitch bitch bitch! Shut up and do your job! Gah!!!!!
I just don't get it. There's so many people out there looking for jobs, so how can you take your job for granted? Seriously! Anyone looking for a job in Minnesota!? I can just about guarantee that you'd be better starting off than half of my employees!

Sorry for bitching, guys. But I gotta blow off some steam some how. Is it wrong that I wanna slaughter everyone who walks in the doors of my store?

Are you a manager? Well either way, I hate seeing people take their anger issues on the dude behind the counter or even managers when the situation is clearly over their heads. You want change? Too bad! You wanna vent? There's a wall over there. He showed no emotions when his wife and kids were knocked down during the renovations, but maybe your story will stir some emotions and make him fight for your cause.

It can't be anymore wrong than wanting to nuke a primary school building because the kids wont flush the toilets. I hate brown corn surprises.

It's just bad manners to take your aggression out on some person standing behind a counter, who probably had nothing to do with the situation. It can get frustrating sometimes dealing with customer service, but I'm pretty sure most people don't like having to deal with it anymore than they want to be there. Be nice. ^^;
